Global Pathways is a groundbreaking youth-led fellowship that brings together young sustainable development professionals in 40 countries with industry experts to reflect on social impact and innovate for sustainability.

What happens when you convene talented young professionals with diverse industry experts who are working on transformational efforts for a sustainable world?

In just 5 intensive weeks, new ideas flourish on some of our biggest challenges — ranging from biopolymers and carbon capture to the green energy revolutions in India, Europe, and China.

Global Pathways, convened by South-North Scholars in January-March 2024, united our fellow young leaders from 40 countries to engage with experts from institutions like the UN, renewable energy startups, and top sustainability consulting and venture capital firms based across the global south and north.

Together, fellows researched key challenges and developed novel ideas for action. See their innovative ideas and critical perspectives below.

These capstone project reports are developed independently by individual program participants and reflect their personal views. South-North Scholars and Global Pathways mentors do not review, modify, or endorse the final contents of participant reports.
